Creative Content Portfolio

This is a small collection of the content I have devised, produced, filmed and edited, mainly during my time at the University of South Wales.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
I’m passionate about EDI and have played a key role in designing content for some of the University of South Wales’ award-winning campaigns, training programmes and awareness-raising internal communications.
Demystifying issues of diversity for those who don’t know where to start learning about it can break down barriers and start conversations.
Helping people act naturally on film isn’t always easy! But I like to have a relaxed approach to interview pieces, without scripts or autocue, helping leaders reinforce their authenticity.
Each of our award wins was celebrated with a range of social media content. Not infrequently involving cake.
Employer brand, recruitment and onboarding
I devised our website content plan to reflect our Core Values: Creative, Inspiring, Professional, Responsive and Collaborative.
Rather than stock photos, I wanted recruitment candidates to hear real voices, from real employees.
I also wanted to show the intrinsic benefits of working for the University and how everyone contributes to changing the lives of our students.
I also try to make my content serious without being stuffy, to reflect USW’s brand.
Employee Engagement and Recognition
When communicating with staff you often have to get content out quickly before the message spreads in a less controlled fashion! This video to promote the launch of USW’s 2030 strategy was filmed, edited and promoted to colleagues within six hours, start to finish.
I’ve also played a key role in promoting and sharing our Core Values via our STARS Recognition Scheme. Every year I collected amazing content from people who couldn’t wait to praise their colleagues and team members for living our values.
Helping to celebrate those who work for us is an honour for me and acts as a reminder to other colleagues of the University’s mission.
